Delete your Keepr account
Applies to the Keepr app for Android and iOS, and the Keepr browser extension. Developer: Stryvo.
Before you delete: make sure you can still sign in to each service protected by Keepr — move its codes to another authenticator or keep its backup codes. Deleted codes can’t be recovered, by you or by us.
Option 1 — in the app (instant)
- Open Keepr and unlock it.
- Go to Settings → Delete account & data.
- Enter your password and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately, any active web subscription is cancelled, and the codes on that phone are erased. Google Play subscriptions must also be cancelled in the Play Store (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), as Google bills them.
Option 2 — by email
If you no longer have the app, email privacy@stryvo.tech from the address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my Keepr account”. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner) and reply when it’s done.
What is deleted
- Your email address, sign-in data and encrypted keys.
- Your encrypted vault (all synced accounts and folders).
- Linked phones and browser extensions, and their sessions.
- Your purchase records in Keepr, security log and sync history.
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted database backups age out within 30 days.
- A record that an account was deleted (without your email) is kept in our security log for up to 400 days.
- Invoices held by our payment providers (Lemon Squeezy, Google Play) are kept for as long as tax law requires.
- If you opted in to analytics, usage events are deleted on request — mention it in your email.
Just want to remove your codes from one device?
Use Settings → Sign out on that device, or remove the device from Settings → Devices & extensions on another one. Your account stays intact.
