# Keepr > Keepr is a two-factor authentication (2FA) authenticator app for Android (iOS planned) with a companion browser extension for Chrome and Microsoft Edge. It generates TOTP, HOTP and Steam Guard codes, lets people organise their accounts into folders (for example Work, Personal, Finance), and syncs them with zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption. It is made by Stryvo, an independent developer in India. Key facts: - Category: two-factor authenticator / one-time password (OTP) app, an alternative to Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Aegis and 2FAS. - Distinctive feature: folders for authenticator codes, with search across services, accounts and folder names; adding from inside a folder files the new code there; long-press a code to move it. - Browser extension: linked by scanning a QR code with the phone; the phone seals the vault key to the browser's X25519 public key, so the server never sees it. The extension is read-only, PIN-locked, suggests codes for the current website and can fill them in. - Encryption: the password is processed on the device with scrypt into an authentication key and a separate wrapping key that never leaves the device; each item is encrypted with XChaCha20-Poly1305 bound to its user, item id, type and key epoch. Servers store ciphertext only. A recovery key resets the password without data loss. Removing a device re-encrypts the vault with a new key. - Importing: Google Authenticator export QR codes; Aegis (plain and encrypted), 2FAS (plain and password-protected), Bitwarden (JSON/CSV), Ente Auth, Proton Authenticator, andOTP, FreeOTP+ export files; Apple Passwords CSV; any text with otpauth:// links; QR screenshots. Authy and Microsoft Authenticator do not allow exporting codes. - Security features: PIN and biometric app lock, auto-lock, screenshot and app-switcher protection, clipboard auto-clear, sign-in alerts, refresh-token reuse detection. - Works offline; codes are generated on the device. - Pricing: free forever with no ads (unlimited codes and folders, import, app lock, encrypted backup files, cloud sync for up to 10 accounts). Keepr Pro adds unlimited sync and the browser extension: USD 2.99/month, USD 19.99/year or USD 49 lifetime, with a 14-day free trial. Android purchases go through Google Play; web purchases through Lemon Squeezy. - Status: launching on Google Play soon. ## Pages - [Home](https://keepr.stryvo.tech/): features, security model, extension, pricing and FAQ - [Privacy policy](https://keepr.stryvo.tech/privacy): exactly what data is stored and why - [Terms of service](https://keepr.stryvo.tech/terms) - [Delete your account](https://keepr.stryvo.tech/delete-account) ## Contact - Support: support@stryvo.tech - Privacy: privacy@stryvo.tech
